Rogue Gallery Art Rentals & Sales

In 1985, the Rogue Gallery & Art Center established a Rental Sales Program as an opportunity for artist community contact and to provide more accessibility to art as a benefit of membership.

The Rental Sales Gallery/Shop is located in the Rogue Gallery & Art Center, 40 S. Bartlett St., Medford; corner of 8^th & Bartlett, directly behind the Craterian Theater.

At present, over 250 artists are represented in the gallery — all from Oregon or Northern California— with an inventory of approximately 500.  All artwork is juried. There are at least 200 pieces of art in the Gallery at any one time. Mediums included are: oil, acrylics, watercolor paintings, metal, and stone sculptures, drawings, collages, photography, and unframed and framed prints.

How the plan works

Artwork may be rented by individuals for a three month period and renewed for a second three months.  The Corporate rental period is 6 months.  The rental fees are based on the purchase price of the artwork, ranging from $20 to $100 for the three and 6 month rental periods. 

If purchased during the rental period, the rental fee, less the transaction charge, is deductible from the purchase of the artwork. A monthly purchase payment plan is offered without finance charge. The gallery offers assistance in selecting artwork for home or office. Gift certificates are available.

Membership in the Rogue Gallery & Art Center is required for rental or contract sales. Some of the benefits of membership include: advance notice of exhibits and receptions, special rates on classes and invitations to our special events such as the Art Studio Tour and Smudge Pot Pourri dinner & auction.

Membership may be purchased in the Rogue Gallery & Art Center.  The Rogue Gallery & Art Center is a non-profit organization and some fees are tax-deductible.
