How to Draw People with David Terry

6 Week Workshop, Thursdays, 11am-3pm, May 2-June 6, 2019

Want to learn how to draw people? This 6 week workshop will explore several different approaches for drawing people and the human figure with accuracy and artistic skill using a live model.

Rogue Studio Figure Drawing Sessions

Spring Series: Tuesdays, May 7–June 11, 6 pm–8:30 pm

Six Tuesday evenings for 2 1/2 hours of moderated, uninstructed figure drawing sessions with a live model in the Rogue Studio. Adults 18 years and older from beginning to advanced levels are welcome. The sessions will include short gestures and longer, sustained poses. Students must provide their own drawing materials. Drawing boards, worktables and easels are available for use.

Plein Air at Lone Ranch with Silvia Trujillo
Beginning through advanced painters welcome
Saturday May 4th, 9am-3pm

Experience painting and drawing in the great outdoors. Enjoy painting the beautiful surroundings of Alpacas at Lone Ranch in Eagle Point, Oregon. Landscape artist Silvia Trujillo will guide you in depicting the beauty of the landscape, creating interesting compositions, and capturing a moment in time.
Please bring a lunch and light snack if desired.

Watercolor & the Water Soluble Pencil with Lane Hall

Beginning through advanced painters welcome.
Wednesday June 19, 1-5pm

Learn how to capture breathtaking moments in a work of art using water soluble pencils and watercolor. Lane will demonstrate various techniques and skills using water soluble pencil. Capture luminous color in your work by adding watercolor to accentuate the water soluble pencils. The class will work from still life objects.

Simply-Ways to Paint Better with Barbara Martin

Beginning through advanced painters welcome.

In this supportive and fun workshop, you will develop your artist hand and eye using black, white and gray scale with simple tools to increase your painterly vocabulary. Throughout the workshop Barbara Martin will be sharing examples of the mindset and process used to create her award-winning “SuperPly” series.

With today’s technology anyone can take pictures, but how do you photograph artistically? Tom Glassman will share tips and tricks to get awesome shots in real time. No Photoshop will be necessary for stunning photographs after this workshop.
