Come create, explore, and enjoy discovering art at the Rogue Gallery & Art Center the second Saturday of each month. Create interesting art projects in the Rogue Studio and explore our Main, Community, and Members’ Gallery spaces with an art scavenger hunt the whole family will enjoy! All children must be accompanied by an adult.

ALL AGES WELCOME. ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

Acrylic on Canvas Winter Scenes with Tia McKenzie
Ages 11–14
4 sessions, Saturdays, January 16–February 6, 11:30 am–2:30 pm

In this painting class, students will be inspired to paint winter scenes such as cheerful sights and snowy landscapes. Students will learn color mixing, painting composition, light, shade and texture. This class is perfect for students who would enjoy learning how to make beautiful paintings!

Winter Young Artists’ Studio with Ashley Clasby
Ages 7–11
6 sessions, Wednesdays, February 10–March 17, 3:45–5:15 pm

In this exploratory workshop, young artists will get their hands in clay, press original prints, construct eye catching mosaics, and much more!

Wild Sculptures with Samar Dawisha
Ages 7–11
Saturday, February 20, 12–2 pm

In this class young sculptors will explore the wild world of sculpture including animal figures, totem poles, and recycled art sculptures using a variety of found objects, paper, and wire to make incredible creations.

Explore Printmaking with Ashley Clasby
Ages 7–10
Saturday, March 6, 11:00 am–2 pm

Students will learn how to create works of art using monotype printmaking. Monotypes are created by applying the paint or ink directly onto the plate, then pressed against the paper to create a single print. Monotypes are a great introduction to printmaking and a very expressive art form. Students will create fun fall themed prints.

Art 360° with Tia McKenzie
Ages 11–14
4 sessions, Tuesday–Friday, March 30–April 2, 1:00–4:00 pm

Students will explore new materials each day of the week. Projects will include drawing, painting, clay, paper maché, mixed media, collage, glass fusion, beading, and mosaics. By the end of the week, students will have hands-on experience with a wide range of exciting materials. Join us to experience art 360°!

PLEASE REGISTER EARLY!   In order for us to hold a class or workshop, we must meet the predetermined minimum enrollment requirement one week prior to the first class or workshop meeting. If we do not meet the minimum enrollment, the class or workshop will be cancelled due to low enrollment.
