Calls-to-Artists

Are you an artist who is interested in sharing your creative work with the community? The Main Gallery, the Members Gallery, the Community Gallery, the Berryman Gallery and our Artisan Gift Shop each offer different showing opportunities for artists and artisans at various stages in their artistic careers.

 

Your Britt Experience Photography Contest

The Britt Festival and Rogue Gallery are teaming up for this photography contest. All pictures must be taken on the Britt grounds, and each contestant may submit one picture per category. Pictures can be taken in the past or on the Britt Hill this summer. Winners will be selected by Rogue Gallery judges for each category. Categories include People, Animals, Nature, and Architecture. The four winners will exhibit their piece at Rogue Gallery and be celebrated on Britt social media. Also, each of the four winners will receive four lawn tickets to be used at the 2021 concert(s) of their choice. Restrictions do apply. Britt Pavilion is located at 350 First Street, Jacksonville, OR 97530. Submitals will be accepted July 15 - August 15. Please submit as a .JPG or .PNG file

Members' Gallery

The Members' Gallery is reserved for displaying our member artists' work. Members may submit three new works at every drop-off. There are three drop-offs during the year. Each show lasts approximately four months. During the exhibit, accepted work will rotate from the sliders to the walls. Artists must be a current member of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center. Main Gallery Exhibitions

The Rogue Gallery & Art Center invites artists and artist groups to submit a portfolio of work for the 2022 Main Gallery Exhibition Series. Artists working in all media are encouraged to apply. Reserved for work of the highest quality, the Main Gallery features emerging, mid-career, and established artists from the region and beyond. 

Submission deadline January 15, 2021

Submissions are accepted from individuals and groups. If accepted, individual submissions may be grouped with other artists for the exhibit. The submissions are reviewed by a panel of eight to twelve judges from digital jpeg images of art and referenced by an inventory list. Submissions are also evaluated on the exhibition description and artist’s statement. Click the link below for the submission guidelines.

Community Gallery Exhibitions

Berryman Gallery in The Craterian Theater at the Collier Center for the Performing Arts

The Lindsay Berryman Gallery is a satellite exhibition space of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center, located on the second floor lobby of the Craterian Theater. The Berryman Gallery is open to the public before performances and to ticket holders during Craterian performances. Please see the Craterian’s website for performance dates at www.craterian.org/calendar. Artists working two-dimensionally may apply for solo exhibitions lasting approximately two months each, between September and June. The submission deadline is June 12, 2021. *

Artisan Gift Shop

The Artisan Gift Shop specializes in unique, hand-made work by artists and artisans from the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. If you are a fine craftsperson and are interested in sharing your work with us, please submit your items by sending an email with photos of your work to kim@roguegallery.org.
