Calls-to-Artists

Are you an artist who is interested in sharing your creative work with the community? The Main Gallery, the Members Gallery, the Community Gallery, the Berryman Gallery and our Artisan Gift Shop each offer different showing opportunities for artists and artisans at various stages in their artistic careers. We also have non-juried shows for members this year, the annual Members' Exhibit and The 2017 Auction Exhibit.

 

Fauvism, Colors Gone Wild: Annual Art Movement Tribute

Members’ Exhibit and Documentary Screenings

We invite Rogue Gallery members to submit a work in any media in the style of the Fauve artists such as Henri Matisse, Amedeo Modigiani, and Marc Chagall. Drop-off Saturday, June 9, 2018, 11-3pm.
The exhibit dates are June 15 - July 13, 2018

ELIGIBILITY
• Artists is a current member of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center, you may become a member at the time of drop-off.
• Work is your original art (no reproductions)created within the last two years.
• Photographs and hand-pulled prints are signed.
• Work is in excellent condition (clean mats and frames).
• Work is properly framed and wired for hanging. For safety of artwork, we do not allow saw tooth hangers.
• Watercolors and works on paper must be covered by glass or Plexiglas with no exposed edges (closed frames only). Wrapped canvas is ok.
• Outer dimensions (including frame) are 40” x 40”.
• Please do not submit work that has previously been display in any of our galleries.
• Artist receives 60% of sale price: Rogue Gallery receives a 40% commission of retail sale.
• All work must be for sale and $1,500 or under.

Community Gallery Exhibitions

The Rogue Gallery & Art Center invites artists to submit a portfolio of work for the 2019 Community Gallery Exhibition Series. Artists working in all media are encouraged to apply. The submission deadline is June 15, 2018. *

Berryman Gallery in The Craterian Theater at the Collier Center for the Performing Arts

The Lindsay Berryman Gallery is a satellite exhibition space of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center, located on the second floor lobby of the Craterian Theater. The Berryman Gallery is open to the public before performances and to ticket holders during Craterian performances. Please see the Craterian’s website for performance dates at www.craterian.org/calendar. Current Rogue Gallery & Art Center member artists working two-dimensionally may apply for solo exhibitions lasting approximately two months each, between September and June. The submission deadline is June 15, 2018. *

Members' Gallery

The Members' Gallery is reserved for displaying our member artists' work. Members may submit three new works at every drop-off. There are three drop-offs during the year. Each show lasts approximately four months. During the exhibit, accepted work will rotate from the sliders to the walls. Artists must be a current member of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center. Membership can be purchased at the time of submission. Click HERE to see the type of work we show, or better yet, come to the gallery!

Important Dates:

* Drop-off & pick-up times are during regular gallery hours, Tue -Fri: 10-5, Sat 11-3

2018 Annual Benefit Auction Members’ Art Exhibit


Drop-off one piece on the theme “Puttin’ on the Glitz”- in an Art Deco/Great Gatsby style -
October 14, 2018, 11:00-3:00 pm. The auction will be held October 20th.

ELIGIBILITY
• Artists is a current member of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center, you may become a member at the time of drop-off.

Main Gallery Exhibitions

The Rogue Gallery & Art Center invites artists and artist groups to submit a portfolio of work for the 2020 Main Gallery Exhibition Series. Artists working in all media are encouraged to apply. Reserved for work of the highest quality, the Main Gallery features emerging, mid-career, and established artists from the region and beyond. 

Submission deadline is January 12, 2019. *

Artisan Gift Shop

The Artisan Gift Shop specializes in unique, hand-made work by artists and artisans from the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. If you are a fine craftsperson and are interested in sharing your work with us, please submit your items by sending an email with photos of your work to kim@roguegallery.org.


Celtic Celebration Art Contest

Rogue Gallery & Art Center invites member artists to bring in one (1) piece related to the St. Patrick's Day, Ireland, and/or Irish culture. Drop off dates TBD for 2019. Awards given to the “Best in Show” ($100.00 award) and “People’s Choice” ($50.00 award)

Dimensions (including frame) are 40” x 40” or smaller for 2 dimensional work and 40” x 40” x 40” and 35lbs or under for 3 dimensional work.
